Shane is Operations Manager at CooperVision ANZ where he is responsible for all aspects of Distribution and Supply Chain, Customer Service Centre and site related matters at CooperVision’s Torrensville site. At the site he has a team of 40 staff, including his direct reports: the Warehouse Manager, Inventory Controller and the Customer Service Manager.

Shane has over 25 years’ experience within distribution and supply chain, he has a green belt in Lean Six Sigma, a diploma in frontline Management and a diploma in Logistics. The majority of his experience was gained in the FMCG industry, having spent 16 years with Metcash, where he held several roles including Warehouse Manager with responsibilities for multiple distribution centres. During his time at Metcash he was part of the National Logistics project team that undertook duties such as system implementations and facility relocation. He has been involved in several projects in his time with CooperVision including an ERP implementation, the management of the Sauflon integration into CooperVision and more recently, he managed the development of and implementation of Voice Pick at the Torrensville site.
